Thank you for taking time to visit my Real Estate web site and learn about me. My background in business and real estate is a strength you can leverage as a home buyer or home seller. I am a middle Tennessee native was born and raised in Nashville Tennessee. In 1967, my family moved to Brentwood, TN long before it became the luxury home community it is now. It is unbelievable the growth that I have seen in Brentwood, Cool Springs and Franklin. It is a great place to call home, conduct business and raise a family. The Brentwood, Franklin, Cool Springs community is where my family and I currently reside.
I started my business career in the computer industry in 1986 working for Tandy Corporation and Zenith Data Systems in sales / marketing and support as a systems engineer. In 1993, my wife and I established Special Selections Children's Clothing, an upscale, specialty children's clothing catalog. As internet sales became more important to our business, we focused more of our business on our web site. We owned and operated our business for 12 years publishing 20 catalogs during that time. My business experience in both sales and small business is a tremendous asset for my clients in real estate.
In 2003, I became interested in real estate as an investor and started investing in real estate for myself and my family. During this time, I developed a passion for real estate and decided to make it my career. I am still an active real estate investor and own / manage a number of rental home properties as real estate investments. As an investor, I have purchased foreclosure homes, bank owned houses, short sales and other types of distressed properties. I have rehabbed them and then either resold them or kept them as rental homes / investments. My experience as an investor buyer is beneficial for my buyer clients as well as my sellers. In 2005, I received my TN real estate license, and in 2008, after 3 years under my belt as an affiliate broker and real estate professional, I received my TN real estate broker's license. I am also a partner / owner with SilverPointe Properties in Franklin, Tennessee and handle the technology aspects of our business.
I help buyers and sellers in and around Brentwood, Franklin, Cool Springs and Nashville TN. I am very active in the pre foreclosure market, and I have strong knowledge and experience in successful short sales negotiations. I have been negotiating short sales for sellers since 2007 and have closed over $4 million dollars in short sale transactions during that time. Buyers are now hiring me to help them negotiate short sales in their home purchase.
Continuing education in the real estate industry is very important to me. I have over 275 hours of real estate specific education. Some of my professional real estate designations include Broker, GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), ePro, and SFR (Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Specialist).
When I am not working on my real estate career, I am playing golf (Vanderbilt Legends Club), coaching baseball, or spending time with my wife and 4 children.
